WHY SHOULD YOU TAKE A MULTIVITAMIN?

Most people wonder if taking a daily multivitamin or even supplementing specific vitamins and minerals can truly provide noticeable health benefits. It's thought by many that someone eating a well balanced diet rich in lean meats, and produce should be receiving all the necessary nutrients that they need; however, that's not always the case. This can be due to many reasons. The most basic one is that while we try our best to always eat healthy, it's just not possible for everyone these days. Access to nutritional food, small budgets, busy schedules, and many other reasons have us all making poor diet choices at times.

There are also those who may naturally not be receiving the proper nutrition their body needs through food alone due to:
  • Dietary restrictions - such as vegetarian or vegan practitioners
  • Diseases such as Crohn's, Colitis, or IBS
  • Pregnant or nursing mothers
  • Aging individuals
Adding a high quality multivitamin to your daily routine is one way to possibly contribute to your body receiving all the nutrients it needs.

DID YOU KNOW MOST PEOPLE ARE MAGNESIUM DEFICIENT?

Magnesium is one of the most abundant essential minerals in the human body and plays a role in over 300 vitally important metabolic reactions in the body. These reactions impact a number of bodily processes, including:
  • protein synthesis
  • cellular energy production and storage
  • stabilization of cells
  • DNA synthesis
  • nerve signal transmission
  • bone metabolism
  • cardiac function
  • the conduction of signals between muscles and nerves
  • glucose and insulin metabolism
  • blood pressure
But many people are not getting adequate magnesium intake through their diets alone. This can be contributed to many things such as: low mineral levels in our soil and thus our food, GI problems, alcohol consumption, or the use of diuretics.

Fortunately, magnesium levels and symptoms of magnesium deficiency may be managed by taking a magnesium supplement in pill or powder form before bed each night! Many of our customers report lessening  of symptoms such as: headaches, muscles cramps, poor sleep and more within a few days to weeks of starting to take magnesium.
